Position Summary

 

Acuren is actively seeking experienced API 510 Visual Inspectors to join our team and support upcoming outage work in the Central Region, specifically Sarnia and the surrounding area.

 

If you’re looking for your next opportunity in the industrial sector, this is a great chance to join our team and support a busy outage schedule.

  • Project Dates: October 12 to November 15, 2026
  • Required Certification: API 510
  • Salary Range: CA$55.00–CA$65.00/hour, based on certifications and experience
  • Location: Sarnia and surrounding area
  • Preference: Local candidates preferred

 

Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough visual inspections of pressure vessels and piping systems
  • Identify any signs of wear, corrosion, leaks, or other potential issues that could affect the integrity and safety of the equipment, ensuring compliance with API 510 standards.
  • Review and interpret inspection data from various non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
  • Assess the condition of pressure vessels and piping systems and ensure they meet regulatory and industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting all findings, including any defects or anomalies, and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance actions.
  • Ensure that all records are maintained accurately and submitted to relevant stakeholders to support ongoing compliance and safety initiatives.
