The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the company's end-to-end AP function, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and compliance with internal controls. This role will lead and develop the AP team while partnering with Purchasing, Receiving, Operations, and Finance to resolve issues and improve processes.
Responsibilities: - Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, payment runs, and disbursements.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the AP team while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to policies.
- Review and approve payment batches, wires, ACH, and other disbursements.
- Resolve vendor inquiries, invoice discrepancies, and three-way matching issues with Purchasing, Receiving, and Operations.
- Maintain vendor master data and AP-related internal controls.
- Support month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations, accruals, and audit requests.
- Maintain prepaid inventory and intercompany payable balances.
- Assist with cash management and monitor cash requirements.
- Ensure compliance with 1099 and other applicable reporting requirements.
- Prepare AP reports and metrics for Finance leadership.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Support the Controller and Finance leadership with accounting projects and other duties as needed.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of AP/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Prior AP supervisory or management experience required.
- Manufacturing experience is a must; Flavors & Fragrance industry experience highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of AP, procure-to-pay, reconciliations, accruals, and internal controls.
- Strong Excel and systems skills; experience with ERP, WMS, LIMS, and databases preferred.
- NetSuite and Power BI experience a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
