Description

Alaska Northstar Federal (ANF), a member of the Shee Atiká Family of Companies, is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support contract and subcontract administration across ANF, Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR), and Shee Atika Federal (SHF).

This role serves as a key touchpoint for contract lifecycle execution, working closely with Business Development, Operations, Finance/Project Controls, and Senior Leadership. The Contracts Administrator ensures contracts are properly implemented, modified, tracked, and closed out in compliance with applicable federal regulations while maintaining strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.

This position supports a diverse portfolio of federal contracts and requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Support Business Development activities by coordinating NDAs, teaming agreements, and proposal compliance requirements (Reps & Certs, OCI, etc.)
  • Review contract awards for accuracy, including CLIN structure, pricing alignment, period of performance, and FAR/DFARS requirements, and coordinate internal implementation
  • Administer contract and subcontract modifications, including funding updates, and ensure alignment with internal systems (e.g., Unanet, SharePoint)
  • Coordinate with Finance and Project Controls to validate funding, invoicing requirements, and contract data accuracy
  • Support issuance and administration of subcontracts and vendor agreements, ensuring proper flow down of contractual requirements
  • Communicate contract terms, risks, and obligations clearly to internal stakeholders in a way that can be understood by non-contract personnel
  • Support contract closeout activities, including reconciliation of funding, release of claims, and document completion
  • Identify opportunities to improve contract administration processes, templates, and documentation consistency


Requirements

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen

Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)

Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in business, finance, contracts, or related field preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree

Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience with the following:
  • Supporting federal government contracts and/or subcontracts
  • Working with various contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, LH, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal contracting principles
  • Supporting contract lifecycle activities including awards, modifications, and closeout
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across distributed teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and SharePoint

Desired knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Minimum Secret Security Clearance strongly desired
  • CFCM (NCMA) or similar certification preferred or willingness to pursue
  • Experience working in an 8(a) or ANC environment
  • Experience with Unanet ERP/CRM systems, SharePoint, and contract repository practices
  • Experience administering subcontracts and vendor agreements
  • Exposure to contract negotiation and risk identification, with escalation to Contracts Manager as needed
  • Experience supporting distributed teams and multiple programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

Salary Description

$88,000.00 - $115,000.00
