Full Job Description
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
The physician must have an M.D. or D.O. degree.
A physician, licensed to practice medicine in the State of Indiana, who has successfully completed an anesthesiology residency program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or by the American Osteopathic Association, (AOA).
Permanent certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or maintenance of certification in anesthesiology (MOCA), when indicated, as outlined by the ABA.
When hired, the anesthesiologist must be, at a minimum, board eligible by the ABA. However, the physician must become board certified within the time frame set forth by the Department of Anesthesiology (3 years) from the date of employment. (Applicable after August 15, 2004
