Inova is expanding our Anesthesia services at both our Inova Loudoun and Inova Fair Oaks Hospital locations are seeking experienced, motivated and world class anesthesiologists to join our team and serve our communities. Our Anesthesiologists supported and work in partnership with a robust CRNA team 24/7 in addition to nocturnist coverage with our CRNA teams.
Physician Job Responsibilities:
- Experience in all methods of anesthetic delivery including but not limited to intravenous/general, spinal, epidural, ultrasound guided regional anesthesia
- Experience in broad spectrum of clinical services- including but not limited to spine, joint replacement, minimally invasive surgery, maternal, endoscopic, diagnostic imaging
- Collaborate and coordinate with physicians, nurses, technicians and other healthcare providers in the assessment and management of patients throughout the peri-procedural encounter
- Must demonstrate good communication skills and an ability to work in team environment
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:- Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesia.
- Experience: successful completion of Anesthesia residency program.
- Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start, ACLS, PALS (when appropriate)
- Payor Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
- Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
