No Call. When cases are done for the day, we are done for the day.
No Nights. Late-day coverage rarely ends after 6PM.
No Weekends. Elective Saturday cases are covered by providers on a volunteer basis who are rewarded with additional compensation.
Low-Stress Practice: No Obstetrics, no Cardiothoracic, no Trauma, no Neonates.
Partnership Track: Full-time anesthesiologists are eligible for a profit-sharing partnership after 2 years with shares awarded based on tenure and leadership roles.
Professional Growth: AAC Southwest offers clinical management opportunities and on-going educational opportunities such as sponsoring attendance at ultra-sound guided regional anesthesia courses for qualified providers.
Flexible Scheduling: Credentialing across multiple facilities allows for early-out requests and personalized schedules.

- Time away from the practice starts at over 6 weeks per year, including federal holidays when sites of service are closed (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas).
Schedule - Typically averages 45 hours week with seasonal variation
Qualifications - Anesthesiologist- ABA Board-Certified or Eligible (certification required within 7 years of completing residency).
- Ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia training preferred.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced ambulatory environment, including office-based sites of service.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to several client sites (but rarely more than one per day).
