OverviewBRMi is seeking a Mobile Developer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise mobile banking applications across iOS and/or Android platforms. This role will work within a cross-functional Agile team to deliver secure, reliable, high-performing, and user-friendly mobile experiences.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on native mobile development experience with Swift/Objective-C for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android, along with experience integrating APIs, troubleshooting production applications, and working within Agile development environments.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile application features for iOS and/or Android platforms.
- Develop native mobile applications using Swift/Objective-C and Xcode or Kotlin/Java and Android Studio.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, and stability.
- Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party libraries.
- Collaborate with mobile developers, backend engineers, designers, analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Write and maintain unit tests and UI/automated tests to support application quality.
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
- Ensure solutions follow platform-specific development, security, accessibility, and performance standards.
- Contribute to reusable mobile components, libraries, and development frameworks.
- Stay current with iOS/Android operating system changes, mobile development trends, and emerging technologies.
- Support CI/CD and automated mobile application build and deployment processes.
- Mentor less experienced developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing, as appropriate for experience level.
- Contribute to broader mobile platform initiatives, architecture, and technical strategy at senior levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Professional experience developing native mobile applications for iOS and/or Android.
- Strong experience with at least one of the following technology stacks:
- iOS: Swift, Objective-C, Xcode
- Android: Kotlin, Java, Android Studio
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting production mobile applications.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services into mobile applications.
- Experience working with third-party mobile libraries, SDKs, and frameworks.
- Understanding of native mobile application architecture and development best practices.
- Experience with source control, peer code reviews, debugging, and automated testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within Agile software development teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
