Responsibilities

What you'll be able to do:

Analytics Scientist - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Take ownership of end-to-end development of data products to support analytics consumption within the Ford Customer Service Division. Translate user needs into actionable data requirements, ensuring the curated data products effectively address business challenges. Lead data analysis and discovery efforts in collaboration with analytics teams to gather comprehensive details and requirements for new data product development. Actively engage stakeholders from cross functional teams throughout the development lifecycle to solicit feedback, enhance product features, and ensure seamless integration into existing systems or processes. Collaborate closely with data scientists, business stakeholders, and other team members to drive profitable growth and enhance customer satisfaction for Ford/Lincoln dealers. Lead architectural design and development of robust data models and data products utilizing GCP BigQuery, Informatica BDM/DEI, EDC, and Data Privacy Management platforms. Develop and execute comprehensive data governance frameworks and security models to ensure data integrity, compliance, and accessibility. Architect and develop scalable product solutions designed for optimal response times and applicability across diverse business cases. Facilitate integration of heterogenous data sources across multiple platforms to support the development and consumption of high-quality complex data products. Deliver impactful data driven solutions to achieve profitable growth and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Apply expertise to ensure products are scalable and provide effective solutions for a wide range of business cases with reliable performance. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while demonstrating the ability to independently perform tasks and drive projects to successful completion.

Qualifications

You'll have...

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. 5 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Utilizing RDBMS technologies including SQL for data mining by writing efficient database queries and applying techniques including indexing, triggers, and other performance optimization methods. 2. Leveraging data visualization tools and Experience on creating customer reporting and dashboards with tools including Qlikview, Business Objects, or Cognos. 3. Utilizing Data warehousing (ETL) and Business Intelligence technologies to implement solutions in big data technologies including Teradata, Hadoop, or Informatica. 4. Performing validation and user acceptance testing for business process solutions. 5. Translating high level design requirements into functional specifications and providing actionable business insights and decision support based on data curation including Informatica and Cognos skills. 6. Designing and implementing large-scale logical, physical, or metadata data models. 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Formulating data management standards and applied data governance practices aligned with data privacy regulations including CCPA and GDPR for large-scale rollouts to internal teams.

We are offering a salary of $140,629.00 - $182,996.64/yr.
