Overview

JOB PURPOSE

The Analytics Product Manager is the primary connection between EDAA and assigned business domains. This position owns the business relationship, translates domain problems into analytics products and processes, and stays engaged from problem definition through daily operations to ensure delivered solutions create measurable business value.

  • Intake, translation, and prioritization: receive and shape analytics product requests, translate business needs into actionable scope, prioritize work based on complexity, value, and risk, and place work on the product roadmap.
  • Delivery and value ownership: own delivery outcomes, quantify value created, track adoption and feedback, support continuous improvement, and ensure product issues have defined resolution steps and runbooks.
  • Pod leadership: lead a cross-functional, domain-aligned pod consisting of roles such as analytics engineers, data scientists, data engineers, and data architects as needed, coordinating work through influence rather than formal authority.
  • Governance participation: ensure delivered data products comply with governance standards, surface definition conflicts, ownership gaps, or quality issues, and provide domain context to governance processes.
  • Portfolio and operating rhythm participation: participate in backlog grooming, portfolio reviews, sprint demos, and business touchpoints to maintain roadmap alignment and visibility.
