Full Job Description
Title: Analytics Engineer III Location: Orlando, FL

Reports To: Analytics Engineering Manager FLS Status: Exempt

Position Description: The Analytics Engineer III is a senior individual contributor focused on designing, implementing, and advising on data models, pipelines, and analytics solutions across the platform. This role works closely with engineering, product, and business teams to understand requirements, guide technical decisions, and deliver reliable, well-modeled data for internal and customer-facing analytics.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop BI dashboards while leading and managing a BI team to analyze platform utilization adoption, clinical outcomes, product ROI, and operational data for healthcare systems.
  • Lead the design and evolution of data pipelines and transformation frameworks.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to engineering, product, and business stakeholders on data and analytics.
  • Guide data model alignment and ensure solutions adhere to long-term platform and data architecture direction.
  • Contribute high-quality code to pipelines, models, and shared analytics frameworks as needed.
  • Drive technical discussions, reviews, and solution evaluations.
  • Identify systemic data quality risks, modeling gaps, and technical debt.
  • Promote best practices in data modeling, testing, documentation, and maintainability.
  • Support and provide guidance to Analytics Engineer I & II team members.


Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or analytics-focused roles within a healthcare/healthcare-related organization.
  • 5 years of experience with SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI as a full-time role.
  • Experience designing and evaluating data models, pipelines, and analytics solutions at scale.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data transformation patterns, and data quality practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction without direct authority.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience using Python and Visual Studio Code.
  • Basic understanding of AI concepts, including models, embeddings, RAG systems, etc.
