As an Analytics & Automation Lead, you will play a key role in helping HDR leverage data, reporting, and automation to improve operational effectiveness and support data-driven decision-making. Working within the Global Technology Group, this position partners with stakeholders across the organization to evaluate business needs, identify opportunities for process improvement, and deliver reporting and automation solutions that provide measurable value. The role combines analytics, workflow automation, solution design, and business partnership, requiring both strong technical skills and the ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable solutions. The Analytics & Automation Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise reporting and automation solutions using Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and related technologies. This individual will work with business and technical teams to identify the most effective approach to solving problems through analytics, automation, or process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Analytics & Reporting Solutions • Lead the planning, design, development, and support of enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models. • Create intuitive visualizations that transform complex data into meaningful business insights and executive-level reporting. • Develop reporting solutions and KPI dashboards that enable stakeholders to monitor performance and support operational and strategic decision-making. • Optimize report performance through effective use of DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and reporting best practices. • Develop scalable reporting solutions that support both technical and non-technical audiences. Automation & Process Improvement • Design, develop, test, and deploy automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and related technologies, partnering with business teams to support solution adoption and transition to ongoing ownership. • Integrate automation solutions across enterprise applications, SharePoint, Teams, databases, APIs, and other business systems. • Identify and recommend automation opportunities that improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance user experience. • Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance production automation solutions. Data Management & Solution Development • Design and maintain secure, scalable data models using Power Query, DAX, SQL, and other reporting technologies. • Prepare and transform data from multiple enterprise systems while ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity. • Apply enterprise data governance, privacy, and security standards across reporting and automation solutions. • Develop sustainable solutions that balance business requirements, scalability, maintainability, and long-term value. Business Partnership & Solution Assessment • Partner with leadership and stakeholders to understand business objectives, clarify requirements, and evaluate proposed requests. • Assess reporting, automation, and process improvement opportunities to determine the most effective solution approach. • Analyze business processes and recommend solutions that align with departmental goals and organizational priorities. • Help establish business value, expected outcomes, and success measures for analytics and automation initiatives. Collaboration, Documentation & Knowledge Sharing • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Support Services, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and other IT organizations. • Partner with technical teams and stakeholders to evaluate requirements, align priorities, and deliver scalable analytics and automation solutions. • Document solution architecture, data sources, transformation logic, workflows, and technical standards. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to reporting analysts and other team members. • Support end-user adoption through training, education, and knowledge transfer. Preferred Qualifications • Experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions. • Experience building workflow automations and integrations using Microsoft Power Automate or similar automation platforms. • Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Power Query (M), and SQL for reporting, data transformation, and analytics. • Experience working with relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and cloud-based analytics environments. • Ability to gather requirements, perform business analysis, and assess the value and impact of proposed solutions. • Experience querying, extracting, transforming, and modeling data from multiple enterprise systems and data sources. • Experience with Snowflake, Azure, AWS, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Teams, or similar enterprise platforms. • Experience developing integrations using APIs, custom connectors, Power Automate Desktop (RPA), PowerShell, or related technologies. • Experience supporting enterprise reporting governance, security, data quality, and automation best practices. • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification or similar analytics-focused certification. • Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) certification or similar automation-focused certification. • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other continuous improvement methodologies. • Understanding of HDR internal IT teams, governance practices, and business processes. #LI-KV1 Qualifications Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field, or combination of education and relevant experience • A minimum of 5 years application management experience, including management of multiple concurrent projects • Experience in working with business users to establish priorities and manage expectations • Experience in application development and administration desired • Experience in web-based or portal development • Excellent client service, interpersonal and communication skills • Self-starter, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision • Strong verbal and written communication skills and capable of performing tasks in a dynamic environment many times working under tight delivery schedules • Engineering and/or Construction background a plus • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
