Job Summary and Qualifications

Based in the Atlanta area, the Enterprise Director of Analytics & Performance provides strategic leadership for supply chain analytics, business intelligence, enterprise performance management, data governance, digital enablement, and supply chain information systems across the health system. Reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain, this leader transforms enterprise data into actionable intelligence that advances operational excellence, financial stewardship, clinical resource management, and executive decision-making.

The Director partners with supply chain, finance, clinical, information technology, and executive leadership to develop advanced analytics capabilities, establish enterprise performance metrics, strengthen data governance, optimize supply chain technologies, and accelerate digital transformation. This role is responsible for building a high-performing analytics function that enables predictive insights, operational transparency, and continuous improvement across the supply chain enterprise.

Enterprise Analytics Strategy and Performance Intelligence

  • Develop and execute an enterprise supply chain analytics strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise supply chain performance management framework, including executive scorecards, operational dashboards, strategic KPIs, benchmarking, and performance reviews
  • Partner with operational leaders to identify performance improvement opportunities and develop analytical solutions that drive measurable operational, financial, and clinical outcomes
  • Design and maintain business intelligence solutions that enable operational, financial, contracting, and value analysis decision-making.
  • Develop reporting strategies and analytical methodologies that provide actionable insights and measurable outcomes
  • Support data-driven initiatives focused on supply expense reduction, operational performance improvement, risk mitigation, and value realization.

  • Model financial impact and support executive planning
  • Advance intelligent decision support and evaluate AI-enabled analytics tools


Data Governance & Master Data Management

  • Provide governance and oversight of supply chain master data, including item master, vendor master, contract data, and related information systems.
  • Ensure integrity, consistency, accuracy, and standardization of supply chain data across all platforms.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and controls supporting data governance and data quality initiatives.
  • Lead implementation of industry standards and best practices related to supply chain data management.


ERP/MMIS Strategy & Optimization

  • Serve as the business owner for supply chain information systems by defining requirements, prioritizing enhancements, optimizing workflows, and partnering with Information Technology to maximize system performance
  • Provide strategic oversight for ERP, MMIS, contract management, inventory management, and related supply chain technology platforms.
  • Evaluate system enhancements, upgrades, and optimization opportunities.
  • Support enterprise integration between supply chain systems and financial, clinical, inventory, contracting, and operational platforms.

Reporting, Analytics & Decision Support
  • Develop routine and ad hoc reporting that supports executive decision-making, operational management, sourcing initiatives, and value analysis programs.
  • Conduct complex data analysis to identify performance opportunities, utilization trends, financial impacts, and operational risks.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and reporting capabilities.
  • Provide ongoing analytical support to supply chain leadership and organizational stakeholders.
  • Develop self-service analytics, executive dashboards and predictive reporting
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Customer Support
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Operations, Strategic Sourcing & Contracting, Value Analysis, Finance, Clinical Leadership, and Executive stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for supply chain reporting, performance metrics, analytics requests, and data governance activities.
  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Promote effective utilization of analytics tools, reporting capabilities, and supply chain information systems.


Training & Capability Development

  • Develop and oversee training programs supporting effective use of supply chain analytics platforms, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
  • Provide education and support to ensure effective utilization of supply chain technologies and reporting capabilities.
  • Develop documentation, standards, and reference materials supporting data governance and analytics practice


Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide leadership, coaching, performance management, and development for analytics and information systems personnel.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and customer service.
  • Lead teams through organizational priorities, technology initiatives, and business transformation efforts.


What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, supply chain informatics, performance management, ERP/MMIS administration, or related disciplines.
  • Experience supporting healthcare supply chain operations, sourcing, contracting, inventory management, or value analysis functions.
  • Experience with healthcare enterprise resource planning (ERP), business intelligence, and reporting platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex analytics into executive decisions
  • Experience leading analytics, reporting, data governance, or information systems teams.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience including team development, performance management, and organizational change leadership.
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), CPSM, or similar certification.
  • Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP)
  • Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or related certification.
  • ERP, Lawson, Infor, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platform training.
