Job Description

What you'll do

  • Leads root-cause compliance investigations of global, systemic issues and help business units determin appropriate corrective actions and identfies system contributing factors of compliance escapes.
  • Leverages data to identify and assess areas of operational inefficiency within existing business operations to validate compliance findings, seek operational improvements, and assure monitoring for success
  • Ensures FAA correspondence meets established standards
  • Tracks the completion of correspondence corrective actions
  • Acts as liaison with operating departments and the FAA or other regulatory agencies to manage correspondence
  • Provides subject matter expertise on regulatory issues for internal departments
  • Provides direct interface with FAA and other regulators involving correspondence and regulatory matters
  • Maintains correspondence in ETQ database for tracking and trending purposes
  • Risk assesses events associated with correspondence
  • May be required to create analysis reports
  • Participates in various working group(s)
  • Provides support to AA Legal when necessary
