Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Analyst to join the Private Strategies team, focused on residential credit, asset-based finance, and specialty lending investments.
The Analyst will support senior investors across the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, underwriting, structuring, execution, and portfolio management of private and structured credit investments.
This role offers exposure to US residential mortgage credit, securitized products, and alternative credit opportunities across both public and private markets.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain cash flow models for potential investments
- Prepare investment memos to be presented to PIMCO investment committees
- Assist with due diligence relating to new investments, including the formulation and review of business plans and coordination of legal, technical and commercial underwriting
- Support financing activities for both new and existing investments, including evaluation of different financing options, legal coordination and negotiation with lenders
- Conduct market research in order to identify new investment opportunities / themes
Requirements- 0-3 years of experience in investment banking, asset management, structured finance, private credit, or a related field
- Preference for university degree in mathematical, financial, economic or engineering related subject
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Strong work ethic and integrity: candidate should be a team player who is proactive, self-motivated and have a deep intellectual curiosity and desire to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
- Strategic mindset with the capacity to think "outside of the box";
PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 110,000.00 - $ 125,000.00
