Job Summary

Under the direction of the Manager, Enterprise Resource Planning, the Analyst III, Enterprise Resource Planning gathers information and data, analyzes and documents business and technical requirements, identifies and implements business process improvements and technology solutions, assists in the preparation and finalization of business case documents, and executes cross-functional initiatives in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with business leaders, project teams, IT, vendors, and architects to gather, validate, and translate business requirements into effective, scalable solutions.
  • Lead the development of business cases and requirements documentation, ensuring alignment to system strategy, organizational goals, and potential impacts of system changes or upgrades.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of solutions, from requirements through implementation and post-deployment optimization, ensuring outcomes are delivered efficiently, on time, and aligned to business objectives.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of deliverables, including requirements, test strategies, and risk assessments, in alignment with established project standards.
  • Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects, QA, and technical teams to translate requirements into solution designs, validate system performance, and support successful implementation.
  • Analyze current business processes and systems to identify and implement opportunities for improvement, automation, and enhanced user experience, particularly within Workday.
  • Stay current on market trends, customer needs, and industry best practices, leveraging insights from peers and external networks to recommend continuous improvements.
  • Mentor and support the development of other analysts, promoting continuous learning of business processes, systems, and technical capabilities.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or an IT related major, business, finance or accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and job-related experience
  • Experience with Workday PSA and Financials modules.
  • IIBA certification or demonstrated equivalent with business analysis focus
  • Five+ years of job-related experience, including 3+ years of experience with Workday
  • Large group meeting facilitation
  • Heavy business analysis or systems analysis concentration
  • Business process or system design/implementation
  • Demonstrated preference for taking initiative and ownership of business analysis deliverables and other relevant project deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and understand internal stakeholder's priorities, challenges, methods, and processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people at all levels of the organization

Preferred qualifications:
  • System life cycle management experience
  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Time and Expense and other Workday modules
  • Workday PRO Certifications
  • Software systems selection experience
  • Project Management or project coordination experience
  • Experience with Workday PSA, Financials, Adaptive Planning, Time and Expense and other Workday modules

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $88,000 to $118,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
