Are you passionate about data analytics, investigating fraud, and combining strong technical skills with a risk mindset to uncover actionable insights from complex datasets? If so, you might be the right candidate for the Analyst, Fraud Data Analytics and Insights position within Fidelity's Fraud Risk and Control (FRC) organization.

The Role
In this role, your focus will be on supporting data analytics across the Fraud Risk and Control organization. Your responsibilities include:
  • Data analysis for fraud prevention, risk assessments, controls, and policy decisions
  • Operational reporting for global operations and fraud loss and analytical trends
  • Build Fidelity-specific fraud and scam domain expertise, striving to become an expert in Fidelity's complex business and the vast customer, transaction, trading data environment
  • Communicate analysis, collaborate with and provide recommendations to stakeholders within the fraud risk and control organization and to partners across enterprise cyber security

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative, analytics, or technical field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics).
  • 2 plus years' experience in the financial services industry.
  • Fraud or risk related experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience using SQL and analytical platforms to work with large, complex, structured, unstructured datasets to deliver actionable insights.
  • Experience with Python or other programming languages preferred.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools such as SnapLogic, Alteryx, Informatica.
  • Proven experience with data exploration and visualizations (Power BI or Tableau).
  • Prior project experience leveraging financial transaction, trading, customer data preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify data patterns and resolve complex business problems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift gears across a variety of responsibilities.
  • Focus on execution by proactively identifying, communicating, and removing impediments to progress.

The Team

The FRC organization, within Enterprise Cyber Security, is responsible for preventing, detecting, responding to, and investigating fraud incidents across the entire Fidelity enterprise. The FRC data analytics team supports reporting and analytics across the prevention/controls space, global operations performance analytics, fraud loss trends and analytical analysis into recent fraud events.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $67,000-$127,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
