What is the opportunity?

Join RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) as a Consultant Relations Analyst and become an essential partner to our Consultant Relations Managers. In this role, you'll provide strategic operational support to strengthen relationships with consulting firms, research analysts, and field consultants across your assigned territories. You'll drive business development initiatives, coordinate key initiatives, and help maximize our firm's penetration and visibility within the consulting community.

What will you do?
  • Collaborate with Consultant Relations Managers to develop and implement strategic business development plans, cultivate assigned territories, and drive revenue growth
  • Conduct territory research using industry databases (MMD, FinSearches, Callan, etc.) to identify selling opportunities and support smart, targeted outreach efforts
  • Prepare meeting materials and agendas, participate in consultant meetings and calls when appropriate, document meeting minutes, and coordinate follow-up activities
  • Manage Salesforce effectively for content delivery, pipeline maintenance, and call report analysis to support focused selling efforts
  • Ensure accurate and timely consultant information is maintained in the firm's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and tracking tools
  • Manage and coordinate responses to consultant and client inquiries including questionnaires, Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and due diligence requests
  • Support the RFP team in gathering accurate, timely, and quality information from business units and review draft responses to ensure customization to prospect needs
  • Support the firm's global database entry efforts and create reports, dashboards, and statistical analysis to track team effectiveness and identify trends

Must-have
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
  • 0-3 years of financial services industry experience in investment management and/or mutual funds
  • FINRA® Series 7, 63, and 6 licenses or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and advanced project management capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including expertise with PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities across all organizational levels


Nice-to-have
  • Experience with Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Pursuit of industry designations such as CAIA, CIMA, or CFA
  • Data analysis and visualization experience
  • Background in marketing support or business development operations

The expected salary range for this particular position is $60,500 - $104,500, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
