Job Summary
This role supports the TMS team by translating logistics, warehouse, carrier, parcel, and ERP needs into clear requirements, process improvements, system changes, and production-ready solutions across multiple transportation platforms.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze TMS workflows across shipment planning, rating, carrier selection, tendering, tracking, visibility, exception management, and downstream reporting.
  • Translate business needs into requirements, functional specifications, process flows, data mappings, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Investigate production issues and enhancement requests by analyzing system behavior, configuration, data, SQL queries, logs, interfaces, EDI/API transactions, and upstream/downstream dependencies.
  • Partner with developers, Operations, logistics teams, vendors, and business stakeholders through discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
  • Support release readiness, user acceptance testing, documentation, communication, and continuous improvement for TMS capabilities.


To qualify, you must possess the following:
  • 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar experience supporting enterprise applications and cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Experience supporting logistics, TMS, warehouse, distribution, carrier, parcel, or supply chain technology solutions.
  • Strong system analysis skills, including requirements documentation, process/data flow analysis, root-cause analysis, testing, and functional impact assessment.
  • Ability to read SQL, analyze application data, troubleshoot interfaces/logs, and communicate findings clearly to technical and business audiences.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with industry-standard Transportation Management Systems (TMS), including platforms such as Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) / Oracle TMS or similar solutions.
  • Experience with TMS integrations across ERP, WMS, carrier systems, parcel platforms, EDI/API transactions, middleware, reporting platforms, or vendor solutions.
  • Knowledge of transportation execution, shipment visibility, exception management, freight rating, optimization, and operational support processes.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps tools such as Jira, Zephyr, Splunk, SonarQube, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$92,000.00 - $138,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
