Job Description Summary:

Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement across business functions. BI Development: Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to support strategic planning and operational efficiency. Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems. Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to BI processes and tools to enhance data accessibility and usability. Industry Intelligence: Stay informed on BI trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously elevate analytics capabilities.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics or related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Master’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics or related field of study and three (3) years of experience, the employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must have demonstrated experience with: Advanced SQL Development writing complex SQL queries, including multi-table joins, subqueries, window functions, and aggregations, to extract, transform, and validate large, structured datasets for analytical and reporting use cases. Using Python for data cleansing, transformation, exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, and automation of recurring analytical workflows, utilizing libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and related analytical packages. Applying Statistics and Quantitative Analysis, such as descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, trend analysis, and variability analysis, to support business insights, performance measurement, and data driven decision making. Data Science Techniques for Business Analytics, specifically applying data science concepts, including feature engineering, segmentation, predictive or forecasting models, and analytical experimentation, to solve commercial or operational business problems in a healthcare or medical device context. Business Intelligence Dashboard Development (Power BI and/or Tableau) designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports, including data modeling, calculated fields (DAX), and performance optimization. Salesforce Data Analysis and Reporting to extract, analyze and report on Salesforce data objects (e.g., accounts, opportunities, work orders, cases and activities), and integrating Salesforce data into BI dashboards for operational and performance reporting. Developing, defining, and operationalizing KPIs, including metric definitions, calculation logic, and recurring reporting to support strategic and operational decision making. Performing analysis in Microsoft Excel using pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, and data validation techniques for ad hoc analysis and structured reporting. Executive Level Reporting and PowerPoint Storytelling: translating complex analytical and statistical findings into executive ready PowerPoint presentations, including data driven narratives, charts, and tables for senior business stakeholders. Data Validation, Quality Assurance, and Reconciliation, specifically performing systematic data quality checks, reconciliations, and variance analyses to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting outputs across multiple data sources. Partnering with cross functional business stakeholders to translate business and analytical requirements into data models, reporting logic, statistical analyses, and actionable analytical deliverables. Supporting commercial analytics in the healthcare or medical device industry and working with regulated, complex life sciences data environments.

Salary offered for the position is: $160,992.00 - $165,992.00/year.
