US Citizenship required per government contract. (Dual citizenship is not permitted). A completed US DOD clearance investigation and current, active eligibility is required to perform on this contract and therefore is required to be considered for a position.
Main Sail is seeking a Shop Floor Industrial Engineer to assist the PMO with an Adaptive Manufacturing project which will produce small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS). This project will be in support of a manufacturing client in Anniston Alabama.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with Project Management Office Program kickoff.
• Develop Governance model, decision cadence, and reporting templates.
• Assist with the development of an Integrated Master Schedule.
• Develop plan/approach to optimize manufacturing processes and realize value.
• Develop Risk Management plan.
• Document issues, actions, decisions.
• Assist with defining project deliverables and plan for acceptance steering management.
• Plan and execute acceptance steering management.
• Coordinate partner, supplier, and stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Provide CAPEX governance and Government approval.
• Define and support Change & Scope Management.
• Develop a Program transition plan and assist with socialization.
• Assist with interim material management workflow.
• Assist with plan to deliver ERP interoperability.
• Ensure there is visibility into material movement including the ability to track via workflow.
• Develop a workforce transformation strategy.
Experience Required:
• 8+ years of product manufacturing experience, Army depot preferred.
• Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation experience preferred.
• Manufacturing process optimization, modeling & simulation.
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience - SAP preferred.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
Location: Hybrid, Anniston Army Depot, Anniston AL.
Duration: July 27, 2026-July 31, 2027, (12 mos) with probable extension.
