Job DescriptionYou will be the AMMM Liaison Planning Manager - Level 5 for the AMMM Production Engineering team which is responsible for aligning design engineering with production line demands and ensuring configuration-controlled, cost-effective build processes for the C-130 fleet.
What You Will Be DoingAs the AMMM Liaison Planning Manager - Level 5 you will be responsible for leading a high-performing planning organization that drives end-to-end manufacturing readiness.

- Lead day-to-day activities of the Liaison Manufacturing Planning Team, ensuring work instructions produce optimal builds and affordable systems.
- Develop and maintain forward-looking performance measures, fostering a culture of readiness, process adherence, and complete staff work.
- Grow the team's technical capabilities through gap assessments, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to meet current and future enterprise needs.
- Represent the organization at customer events and audits, and actively partner with Production Engineering Central Services (PECS).
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts, engaging other groups as needed to support shared program goals while managing occasional travel and extended-hour requirements.

• LM Aero Manufacturing Planning experience
• Experience with a combination of the following: manufacturing processes and procedures including fabrication, assembly, metallics machining, coatings, electrical, composites, bonded assemblies &/or installations
• Experience in a manufacturing environment working cross functionally with other disciplines including industrial engineering, scheduling, Quality Assurance or production engineering
• Proven experience with developing schedules, managing and maintaining budgets, and/or resource requirements
• Proven experience resolving complex technical challenges requiring integration with cross-functional teams
• Proven experience with military / commercial aircraft
Desired skills• 10+ years' experience supporting manufacturing planning operations in LM
• Proven experience with a represented workforce
• Working knowledge of one or more organizations including: Operations, IT, Planning, Production Control, ERP, MRP, Quality or systems integration
• Experience Root Cause and Corrective Action, and FMEA
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment or independently to solve problems in a timely manner
• Ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical people
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $117,200 - $206,770. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
