Brighter Days Pediatric Urgent Care is transforming access to mental health care for children and adolescents as the area’s first-ever walk-in pediatric mental health urgent care clinic serving patients up to age 18. Our mission is to provide immediate, compassionate, and safe behavioral health support outside of the emergency department while helping patients and families connect to the ongoing resources they need. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our highly collaborative care team. In this role, the RN will perform patient triage, gather collateral from community providers, conduct behavioral health assessments, provide patients and families with education and emotional support, collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, all while creating a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for patients and families. The position is perfect for a self-motivated, proactive nurse who has highly effective critical thinking skills and is independent in decision making. One-year psychiatric experience required. Requires NYS RN license.
