Full Job Description
Munson Healthcare is seeking a highly collaborative, patient-centered Practice Manager to lead operations across our Urgent Care and Occupational Health Medicine clinics in beautiful northern Michigan. This leadership role oversees three clinic locations and plays a critical part in delivering exceptional care experiences while supporting a high-performing team. Your Leadership in Action The Practice Manager will be responsible for: • Operational Leadership: Direct daily operations of assigned physician practice/program, including staff management, provider coordination, scheduling, and workflow optimization to ensure patient access, efficiency, and productivity goals are met. • Financial & Performance Management: Develop and monitor annual budgets, oversee financial performance, and utilize key metrics (e.g., revenue cycle, provider utilization, access benchmarks) to drive operational and revenue outcomes. • Revenue Cycle & Compliance: Maximize front-end revenue processes (scheduling, insurance verification, authorizations, POS collections) and collaborate with billing teams to ensure accuracy and resolve improvement opportunities. • People & Patient Experience: Lead all HR functions including hiring, coaching, and performance management; foster communication and engagement with staff and providers; maintain patient satisfaction scores at or above target through evidence-based practices.
