Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior ALIP Business Configuration Analyst with a strong development or engineering background to support enterprise life insurance platform initiatives. This role is responsible for configuring business rules, workflows, and insurance products within XML-based systems and the Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP). The ideal candidate will possess strong technical configuration expertise, API integration knowledge, and the ability to lead and mentor team members while collaborating across business and technology organizations.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure business rules, workflows, and product functionality within XML-based enterprise systems.
• Build, modify, and maintain business workflows within the Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP).
• Configure life insurance products using XML-driven architecture and business configuration tools.
• Translate business requirements into technical configurations, workflow logic, and system functionality.
• Support end-to-end implementation of business configuration solutions across enterprise insurance platforms.
• Collaborate with business, product, technical, and implementation teams to deliver configuration solutions.
• Support and validate API integrations, ensuring accurate data exchange between ALIP and downstream systems.
• Analyze system configuration issues and provide effective troubleshooting and resolution.
• Perform configuration testing, validation, and quality assurance activities.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to analysts and junior configuration team members.
• Participate in requirements gathering, design discussions, implementation planning, and production support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to configuration, workflows, and system functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong development or engineering background.
• Extensive experience working with XML-based systems and business configuration.
• Hands-on experience with the Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP), including workflow configuration.
• Proven experience performing business configuration within large enterprise systems.
• Experience configuring XML objects, business rules, workflows, and product configurations.
• Experience supporting API integrations and enterprise system data flows.
• Strong understanding of enterprise system implementation and integration.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical configurations.
• Senior-level experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with business, product, and technical teams.
