Aircraft Systems Analyst Level II

Program Summary

KBR is searching for an experienced Aircraft Systems Analyst to study, design, prepare specifications, and perform services related to reliability research and analysis, work with government and contractor team members with assistance in effectively using reliability software to document analysis; assist in drafting reports, papers, and presentations on results of analysis; performing basic statistical and cost analysis; participating in team meetings and interviews, and maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and customers. Potential candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to oversee the collection, sorting and analysis of various qualitative and quantitative data. Analyzes and coordinates technical data within established procedures and schedules.

Role and Responsibilities

Performing reliability research and analysis, work with government and contractor team members with assistance in effectively using reliability software to document analysis; assist in drafting reports, papers, and presentations on results of analysis; performing basic statistical and cost analysis; participating in team meetings and interviews, and maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and customers. Requirements

  • Requires a HS Diploma (BA/BS Preferred) and over 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

  • Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance is required.

Preferred Skills

More qualified candidates will possess:

  • A working knowledge of fourth generation fighter aircraft preferably F-15, F-16, aircraft mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems and support equipment.

  • Proficient in the use of Air Force or civilian technical manuals, policies and regulations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels within the organization.

  • A knowledge of technical report writing/editing; creating meeting minutes; briefing material preparation; create and assist in the development of technical documents.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software and similar database/analysis/reporting software is highly desired.

  • Experience operating within Government-provided environments, including working on military installations and test facilities, and familiarity with FAR 52.245-1 requirements for property accountability, along with proper handling of Government Furnished Information (GFI) and sensitive technical data.

  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
