We are currently seeking exceptional individuals for our **Aircraft Maintenance Technician- A&P Mechanic LAS Team in Las Vegas, NV!** **Individuals with military backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply! Strong consideration is given to applicants with military history.** The Aircraft Mechanic will perform aircraft line maintenance activities in accordance with company, FAA, other regulatory, and customer standards. Responsible for accomplishing unscheduled/scheduled maintenance; to include, troubleshooting engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, airframes, electrical systems, and oxygen systems. Remove and replace various system components, as required. **What we offer:** - **Pay from $35-$42 per hour- based on experience** - **$5,000 sign-on bonus(For full-time opportunities only)** - **Full comprehensive and affordable benefits plans(Medical, Dental, Vision)** - **401k with a company match** - **Paid time off- 80 hours(accrued)** - **Flexible schedules- Full and Part-Time opportunities available** - **Family oriented culture** - **In-house certification opportunities** - **Stable work environment with continuous development and training opportunities to help you grow your career with us!** **Duties and Responsibilities:** - Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Flightcheck's RSM, QCM, customers' procedures, FARs, and all other applicable rules and regulations - Accomplish job functions to the highest safety, quality, reliable, and efficient standards - Complete aircraft maintenance work assignments to the highest standards to ensure aircraft airworthiness - Able to read, interpret, and comply with all aircraft maintenance manuals and other maintenance documents to complete work assignments - Must be customer service-oriented - Ensure all company, customer, and regulatory documents are complete and accurate - Properly use and operate support equipment in performance of assigned duties, i.e., servicing units, jacks, lifts, calibrated tooling, etc. - Occasional travel may occur - Perform other duties as they are assigned **Requirements:** - **Must** have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent - **Must** have 3-5 years of experience - **Must** have a valid A&P and State Driver's License - **Must** be able to read, write and understand English and the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions - **Must** be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds - **Must** be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening - **Must** be able to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall **Preferred, but not required:** - B777-200/300/F - A320/321 - B787-8/9/10 - B757-200/300 - B737- NG MAX - EMB 145 - CRJ 200 **Workplace environment:** - **Schedule: Full-Time** - Potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and moving mechanical parts. - Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat. - The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
