Description

RiVidium is seeking an AI / Machine Learning Specialist to support our planned MODES III team supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role supports IT, Cybersecurity, and Data Operations - Modernization & Innovation and helps deliver mission-focused outcomes for service members, families, and related stakeholders. Implements PWS C.5.3.13 Innovation initiatives; develops AI/ML models, integrates automation pipelines, and ensures secure deployment in DoD environments. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support design, development, or integration of AI and machine learning capabilities aligned to mission needs.
  • Build or refine models, workflows, and supporting data processes in secure environments.
  • Coordinate with data, engineering, and stakeholder teams to translate use cases into practical solutions.
  • Help ensure AI/ML solutions are measurable, supportable, and responsibly deployed.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Mid (5-8 yrs), Senior (10-15 yrs).
  • Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role. For IT and cybersecurity workforce positions, applicable DoD 8140 training and certification requirements will apply upon award.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills in a mission-focused delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data pipelines, dashboards, visualization tools, analytics, or reporting automation, as applicable to the role.
  • Ability to translate operational data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data quality, governance, and performance metrics in enterprise environments.

Work Setting

This role is expected to support work in the Alexandria, Virginia area, with on-site support at the DoD Mark Center or other customer-approved locations as required. Hybrid support in the Alexandria, Virginia area is expected, with on-site support as required by the customer.
