Full Job Description
Role Overview:

The Manager, AI Intelligent Automation will oversee the operating flow and organizational performance of Vizient's Intelligent Automation function. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of automation initiatives, including intake, prioritization, funding, staffing, delivery, and value realization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and improve the Intelligent Automation intake, triage, assessment, prioritization, and governance processes.
  • Maintain portfolio visibility across all automation initiatives and partner with business leaders to clarify demand and business value.
  • Coordinate with the Lead AI Automation Engineer to determine technical feasibility, architecture, and resource requirements.
  • Manage annual and quarterly planning, budget forecasting, spend tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee workforce planning, hiring strategies, contractor management, and resource allocation.
  • Manage portfolio risks, cross-team dependencies, and executive reporting while ensuring an effective support model.
  • Lead formal people management, including performance reviews, career development, and team health.

Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of enterprise Intelligent Automation, UiPath, and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience managing technology intake, prioritization, budgets, and multi-initiative portfolios.
  • Ability to translate technical estimates and skill requirements into executable staffing and budget plans.
  • Strong leadership, business partnership, financial management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience communicating portfolio health, risks, and business value to senior leadership.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology delivery, automation, engineering operations, or portfolio management.

  • Must be willing to work onsite in Irving, Texas.
