Full Job Description
Overview

Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AI Integration Analyst to support a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics & Engineering (G-4) at Redstone Arsenal, AL.

This role is responsible for developing, integrating, testing, and improving AI solutions while translating operational requirements into secure, reliable, and supportable enterprise capabilities. The analyst works directly with operational personnel, functional subject matter experts, leadership, data owners, cybersecurity personnel, and technical teams to identify high-value AI use cases and develop practical AI-enabled solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leveraging AI and large language models (LLM) to transform complex legacy processes into modern, automated, and secure agentic workflows for leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities for AI automation and process improvement across USASMDC G4's logistics, acquisition, contracting, and business operations.
  • Design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents and multi-agent systems to automate and optimize workflows.
  • Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications and data sources through Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), databases, Microsoft 365, Palantir Foundry, and other approved systems.
  • Configure prompts, system instructions, AI agents, retrieval strategies, tool integrations, workflow logic, and guardrails for enterprise AI solutions.
  • Evaluate AI model outputs for accuracy, completeness, hallucination, consistency, relevance, security, and operational usefulness.
  • Set up Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines so an AI can accurately scan internal databases, emails, and PDFs without leaking sensitive information.
  • Work with cybersecurity and system owners to ensure AI solutions comply with approved information-handling and system-access requirements.
  • Conduct demonstrations, training, and knowledge-transfer sessions for government personnel.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Two (2) or more years of hands-on experience developing, integrating, configuring, or evaluating Artificial Intelligence or Generative AI solutions.
  • Five (5) or more years of professional experience in software integration, systems analysis, automation, data analytics, software development, or related technical disciplines.
  • Proficiency in developing and integrating Generative AI and Large Language Model applications for business operations.
  • Experience managing AI security risks including unauthorized data disclosure, prompt injection, insecure tool access, hallucination, excessive permissions, and inappropriate reliance on AI-generated information.
  • Ability to distinguish between problems appropriate for AI and problems better solved through conventional automation or process improvement.
  • Understanding of RAG architecture including document ingestion, chunking, metadata, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval, reranking, and response generation.
  • Strong ability to translate complex AI technologies and agent workflows into clear, actionable business tools, and present technical findings or capabilities to non-technical military stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or other federal government organizations.
  • Familiarity with DoD Responsible Artificial Intelligence principles and federal AI governance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience integrating AI capabilities within Palantir's Foundry (specifically MAVEN, Vantage, or APAS) or Microsoft's Power Platform.
  • Familiarity with military supply chain, logistics, or financial management systems (e.g., GFEBS, GCSS-Army).
  • Experience implementing human-in-the-loop (HITL) workflows and AI safety/evaluation guardrails (e.g., NeMo Guardrails, Llama Guard) inside secure government or enterprise environments.
  • Experience developing user guides, technical documentation, standard operating procedures, training materials, process flows, and implementation documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
