Full Job Description
This person builds the solution and works with the business day to day inside a pod. This seat is focused on building well. Key responsibilities • Build the features. Full-stack on AWS and Azure using Claude and other models. • Work with users. Sit with the business day to day and build with them. • Keep quality up. Tests and evaluations on everything that ships. • Work to the design. Build within the agreed solution design, and flag what the design misses. • Raise the bar. Set the engineering standard in the pod and support less experienced engineers. Preferred qualifications • Exposure to Agentic DevOps tooling (agentic coding tools, eval-driven pipelines). • Vector databases and LLM observability in production. • Infrastructure as code (Terraform or Bicep). • Healthcare or higher education exposure, including HIPAA or FERPA environments. • AWS Machine Learning Engineer - Associate, or Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102 or its successor). General required skills • 5 to 8 years building software or AI, including 1 to 2 years leading. • Python and TypeScript, back end and modern front end (React or similar). • RAG and agent experience in production. • Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar). • REST APIs and enterprise data integration. • AWS or Azure, deploying and operating cloud-native workloads. • A strong builder who is comfortable working with the business. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. The estimated base salary for this job is $140,000 - $170,000 USD. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $168,000 - $204,000 USD. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
