Full Job Description
AI Automation Specialist
A growing organization is looking for a hands-on builder to identify manual, repetitive workflows and design/implement AI-driven agents and automations that deliver measurable, tangible ROI - not just incremental productivity gains. Early project examples include automating onboarding/offboarding processes across HR and IT service management platforms, and streamlining a manual billing/accounts receivable workflow. This is a practical, workflow-first role, not a research or data-science position.

Must Haves:

  • Demonstrated experience building real automations or AI agents/workflows (portfolio or concrete examples required - not just "using" AI tools)
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight/direction; able to take a loosely defined problem and run with it
  • Strong working knowledge of at least one major AI tool ecosystem (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) - comfort learning new tools quickly is more important than depth in any one platform
  • Ability to understand and map existing business workflows (technical or operational) well enough to identify automation opportunities

Nice to Haves:

  • Background as a financial/business analyst, business systems analyst, or developer who moved into automation/AI work by self-teaching rather than formal AI/ML training
  • Experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday) and/or IT service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), particularly around onboarding/offboarding automation
  • Experience automating billing or accounts receivable workflows
  • Healthcare industry experience (nice but not required)
