ResponsibilitiesThe Agile Product Owner (APO) has the primary role to own and manage the Product Backlog, serve as the voice of the customer and work on a highly collaborative, cross-functional Scrum team required to support the credit union's Vision. The APO is responsible for driving the development of highest value capabilities for all Grow products. Through the Agile methodology, closely collaborates with business product sponsors, business analysts, developers, designers, and other stakeholders such as business, legal/compliance, security, and operations to ensure that the detailed designs and features delivered by the Scrum meet the needs of all stakeholders. The APO is self-motivated, able to adjust to changing circumstances quickly and professionally and diplomatic with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or additional four years of experience in lieu of degree required.
- Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) required.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working on Scrum and/or Kanban teams required.
- Minimum 1 year experience leading systems/processes/tools for complex integrated organizational projects.
- Must possess superior communication skills to ensure a successful partnership across all levels of the organization.
- Must be highly organized, methodical and detail oriented to effectively prioritize work.
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Computer knowledge utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Demands- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
- Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
- Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.
Work Environment- Traditional office setting; Work from home available.
