Dans ce rôle, votre principale responsabilité consistera à appuyer l'acquisition de terrains et de droits de passage liés à des expansions majeures du réseau, des acquisitions, des projets de développement sur de nouveaux sites et des achats en pleine propriété. Vous serez le lien essentiel entre la conformité réglementaire, les relations avec les propriétaires fonciers et la réalisation des projets - un travail qui contribue directement à l'exploitation sécuritaire et optimale de notre infrastructure pipelinière.

Ce que vous ferez :
  • Coordonner les communications avec les propriétaires fonciers, les approbations, les ententes, les autorisations de travaux et les avis aux parties intéressées selon les processus établis.
  • Effectuer des recherches sur les propriétés, titres, ententes, coordonnées et dossiers fonciers, puis préparer des sommaires clairs pour soutenir les opérations et les projets.
  • Préparer et tenir à jour les ententes, permis, correspondances, rapports, dossiers de partenaires, lots de travaux et systèmes de données foncières.
  • Soutenir les activités d'acquisition de terrains, de cession, de passage, d'entretien sur le terrain, de sensibilisation du public et de conformité, tout en coordonnant les parties intéressées internes et externes.
  • Examiner et résoudre les demandes courantes des propriétaires fonciers et des collaborateurs, surveiller les livrables et communiquer l'avancement, les risques et les préoccupations liées à la qualité des données.
  • Offrir du soutien à l'intégration et au partage des connaissances auprès des membres de l'équipe et transmettre les négociations complexes, réclamations, questions juridiques ou enjeux liés aux parties prenantes aux professionnels fonciers principaux.


Qui vous êtes :
  • Diplôme universitaire, diplôme collégial ou certification professionnelle pertinente en gestion foncière.
  • Minimum de 2 ans d'expérience en droit, gestion foncière ou droits de passage. Les candidats ne possédant pas de diplôme universitaire doivent avoir 3 années d'expérience supplémentaires (minimum de 5 ans). Les candidats ne possédant pas de diplôme technique doivent avoir 2 années d'expérience supplémentaires (minimum de 4 ans).
  • Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais requise.
  • Formation et connaissances en matière de titres fonciers, documents juridiques et activités/exigences foncières du secteur pétrolier et gazier.
  • Connaissance et capacité d'interpréter des plans légaux, documents juridiques, titres de propriété et dessins d'ingénierie.
  • Maîtrise des outils informatiques, notamment Word, Excel, les systèmes d'information géographique (SIG), Access et PowerPoint.
  • Excellentes habiletés relationnelles et sens de l'initiative dans les interactions avec divers clients et parties intéressées internes et externes, notamment des avocats, représentants de l'industrie, organismes gouvernementaux, propriétaires fonciers et services internes.

In this role, your primary focus will be to assist with the acquisition of lands and right-of-way related to large-scale system expansions, acquisitions, greenfield projects, and fee purchases. You will be the connective tissue between regulatory compliance, landowner relationships, and project delivery - work that directly enables our pipeline infrastructure to operate safely and optimally.

If you're diligent and work well with multiple groups and have a strong background in land administration and right-of-way activities, this opportunity lets you do important work that keeps North America's energy moving.

What You Will Do:
  • Coordinate landowner communications, approvals, agreements, work authorizations, and interested party notifications using established processes.
  • Research property, title, agreement, contact, and land records, and prepare clear summaries to support operations and projects.
  • Prepare and maintain agreements, permits, correspondence, reports, partner records, work packages, and land data systems.
  • Support land acquisition, disposals, crossings, field maintenance, public awareness, and compliance activities while coordinating with internal and external interested parties.
  • Investigate and resolve routine landowner and collaborator inquiries, monitor deliverables, and communicate progress, risks, and data quality concerns.
  • Provide onboarding and knowledge-sharing support to team members and bring up sophisticated negotiations, claims, legal matters, or collaborator issues to senior land professionals.


Who You Are:
  • Related university degree, diploma, or professional land certification.
  • 2+ years of experience related to law, lands, and Right of Way. For candidates that do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years' experience is required (total of 5+ years). For candidates that do not possess a technical diploma, an additional 2-years is required (total of 4+ years).
  • Fluency in both French and English is required.
  • Training and knowledge in land titles, legal documents, and oil and gas land activities and requirements.
  • Familiarity with, and ability to interpret, legal plans, legal documentation, titles, and engineering drawings.
  • Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, Geographical Information System (GIS), Access, and PowerPoint.
  • A high level of social skills and initiative in dealing with a variety of external and internal customers and interested parties, including lawyers, industry representatives, government agencies, landowners, and internal departments.


Working Conditions:
  • Office and field-support environment.
  • Work committed to specific assignments can involve above-normal stress levels
  • Expected to manage time and priorities consistent with role level, raise issues appropriately, and maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Frequent travel (~50%) is required to cover the region from Cardinal, ON, to Montreal, QB. Ability to travel and work throughout Ontario and Quebec.
  • A valid driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire.


Salary:
  • Ranges from $72,360 - $100,000 CAD for Canadian locations (except Alberta) based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.
  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
