What you will bring to the role
Develop and execute a bold after sales strategy, leveraging market insights and installed base analysis to unlock opportunities across the US and Canada
Drive after-sales warranty conversions and contract renewals to consistently meet and exceed order targets, leading a team of sales specialists and contract coordinators
Proactively generate new service business by targeting the uncontracted installed base, reactivating lapsed contracts, and converting uncovered customers into recurring service agreements
Own and harmonize forecasting across the US and Canada to maintain an accurate outlook
Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline across renewals, warranty conversions, and new service opportunities, ensuring rapid lead qualification and continuous opportunity generation
Take ownership of sales escalations and support large, strategic accounts, while acting as a deal closer for complex service opportunities to ensure timely resolution
Lead the implementation of new ways of working within the team by training, coaching, and developing team members to systematically unlock additional service revenue
Establish and track KPIs focused on commercial responsiveness, improving speed and quality of engagement with customers and prospects
Partner with marketing to create promotional materials and sales enablement tools
Collaborate cross-functionally with system sales, field service, technical helpdesk, supply centres and other global stakeholders to address customer needs and ensure service delivery
About You
8-10 years of experience in a sales-driven environment, ideally within service, after-market, or analytical instrumentation businesses
Proven leader with the ability to energize and develop an established team, driving change, and embedding new ways of working
Comfortable working remotely or in a hybrid setup, with flexibility to travel as required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; technical or service-oriented background is a strong advantage
Highly results-driven and proactive, with a strong focus on exceeding targets and growing service revenue
Strong communicator and relationship builder, able to clearly articulate value across diverse customer segments
Confident in sales negotiation, deal closing, and pipeline management; experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
