Full Job Description
What you will bring to the role
  • Develop and execute a bold after sales strategy, leveraging market insights and installed base analysis to unlock opportunities across the US and Canada
  • Drive after-sales warranty conversions and contract renewals to consistently meet and exceed order targets, leading a team of sales specialists and contract coordinators
  • Proactively generate new service business by targeting the uncontracted installed base, reactivating lapsed contracts, and converting uncovered customers into recurring service agreements
  • Own and harmonize forecasting across the US and Canada to maintain an accurate outlook
  • Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline across renewals, warranty conversions, and new service opportunities, ensuring rapid lead qualification and continuous opportunity generation
  • Take ownership of sales escalations and support large, strategic accounts, while acting as a deal closer for complex service opportunities to ensure timely resolution
  • Lead the implementation of new ways of working within the team by training, coaching, and developing team members to systematically unlock additional service revenue
  • Establish and track KPIs focused on commercial responsiveness, improving speed and quality of engagement with customers and prospects
  • Partner with marketing to create promotional materials and sales enablement tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with system sales, field service, technical helpdesk, supply centres and other global stakeholders to address customer needs and ensure service delivery


About You
  • 8-10 years of experience in a sales-driven environment, ideally within service, after-market, or analytical instrumentation businesses
  • Proven leader with the ability to energize and develop an established team, driving change, and embedding new ways of working
  • Comfortable working remotely or in a hybrid setup, with flexibility to travel as required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; technical or service-oriented background is a strong advantage
  • Highly results-driven and proactive, with a strong focus on exceeding targets and growing service revenue
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder, able to clearly articulate value across diverse customer segments
  • Confident in sales negotiation, deal closing, and pipeline management; experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
  • Digitally curious and data-driven, leveraging AI and modern tools to enhance lead generation, forecasting, and decision-making
  • Customer-focused, adaptable, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with a test-and-learn mindset
  • Collaborative and commercially minded, contributing to marketing initiatives, customer journeys, and business case development
