Parsons is looking for an amazingly talentedAEGIS Based Defense Systems Engineerto join our team! In this role you will be part of a talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer.
What You Will Be Doing With US:
Work between Next Generation Missile Defense and the Munitions Acceleration Council
Responsible for maintaining and executing the cohesive strategy that integrates NGMD advancements with accelerated munitions production
Ensure as new capabilities and technologies become available, they are quickly incorporated into ongoing production for delivery to the warfighter
Provide direct oversight and facilitate cross functional collaboration among program teams from development and prototyping to production and sustainment
Aligning technical roadmap for NGMD integration
Responsible for the introduction of disruptive technologies, ensuring a unified architectural approach, resolving system integration challenges and transitioning to production
What We Need from You:
US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline degree related to area of specialty
(NOTE: Newly-hired PhD graduates are typically hired into this level.)
5+ years of related professional experience
Mastery of MS Office suite and familiarity with collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence or Teams
Missile System Experience
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Bachelor9s Degree in STEM Field
7+ Years experience
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Prior experience with Weapons Systems Deployment
Experience with Missile Systems Engineering
Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
