The Advisory Manager, Payer Operations - Remote leads healthcare payer consulting engagements focused on payment integrity and payer operations. This role is accountable for leading teams, managing work through direct and indirect reports, delivering projects on time, and translating analysis and stakeholder feedback into clear, client-ready recommendations that demonstrate measurable business value.
Success in this role requires healthcare management consulting experience and demonstrated expertise in payment integrity and payer operations, including claims operations, operational performance, and financial value realization.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of relevant healthcare experience, including health plan operations or healthcare management consulting
- 3+ years of healthcare management consulting experience serving payer clients
- 3+ years of experience with payment integrity and payer operations, including claims processes, operational controls, performance drivers, and financial impacts
- 3+ years of experience leading teams and managing work through direct and indirect reporting relationships in a matrixed environment
- 3+ years of project management experience, including scope, work plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and on-time delivery
- 3+ years of experience creating and delivering client-facing presentations for senior leaders and executive audiences
- 3+ years of experience soliciting, synthesizing, and acting on direct client and leadership feedback)
- 3+ years of experience developing business cases and cost-benefit analyses and articulating the financial and operational value of recommendations
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience applying process improvement or implementation methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile
- Experience supporting payment integrity transformation, audit, recovery, prevention, or operational optimization initiatives
- Written, verbal, facilitation, relationship-management, and executive communication skills

The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
