Job SummaryThe Advisor, Third Party Returns/Reverse Logistics will be the day-to-day liaison between third party returns processors and Cardinal Health, which includes Operations, Sales, Finance, Sourcing, QRA, Legal, Commercial Enablement, and Accounting.
Responsibilities- Provide returns subject matter expertise across all programs (pre-funded, pass thru and DC)
- Monitors contractual compliance between Cardinal Health and third party returns processors
- Streamlines business flow with third parties and internal teams
- Ability to identify and implement improvements across people, process, and technology. Ensuring the change is managed for internal and external resources and that processes continue to adhere to quality standards
- Supports improvement of key performance indicators (KPIs) of the reverse logistics function, compiling monthly summaries of all returns costs and volumes and reviews them with leadership to monitor financial health
- Participates in calls with third party processor and QBRs
- Identifies and trains sales on best practices related to our third party returns program such as preferred contractual language and program adherence
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 4-8 + years of pharmaceutical logistics/operations industry experience, preferred
- Experience in high volume logistics with an emphasis on customer focus and operational excellence preferred; reverse logistics environment a plus
- Project management experience preferred, but not required
- Prior Lean Certification preferred (White Belt, Yellow Belt, Kaizen Leader Training)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Manhattan or SAP experience is a plus)
- Ability to work in dynamic, cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment while demonstrating strong work ethic and high degree of flexibility
- Ability to think strategically as well as execute on day-to-day activity with general guidance
- Effective interpersonal and negotiating skills, ability to influence others, conflict resolution and facilitation skills to successfully carry out responsibilities
- Strong communication skills
- Strong executive presence with ability to lead, message, and partner across and upwards
- Ability to travel 10-15%
