Now Hiring: Advisor, Employee Experience
Job Posting:#26-73Status:Permanent, Full-timePosting Closes:September 11, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.Schedule: 35 hours/week (7 hours/day)
Reporting to the Manager, Employee Experience & Wellbeing, the Employee Experience Advisor provides administrative, coordination, and program support for employee engagement, recognition, learning and development, health and safety, wellness, and psychological safety initiatives. The position is responsible for coordinating programs, events, training, communications, documentation, reporting, and systems that support the delivery of Employee Experience services across the organization. Working collaboratively with leaders, employees, and vendors, the Advisor helps ensure programs and initiatives are organized, compliant, and effectively delivered, contributing to a positive employee experience and supporting Parkland County's goal of being an employer of choice.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a related position.
  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Adult Learning Certificate and/or related adult education courses, OH&S certificate or safety-related training is considered an asset.
  • Experience coordinating programs, projects, events, training or administrative services in a fast-paced environment including managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience providing administrative and operational support, maintaining records and databases, preparing reports and coordinating communications.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, health and safety systems, and HRIS software.
  • Experience managing records, organizing file systems, and familiarity with POPA.
  • Experience supporting employee engagement, recognition, wellness, learning and development, health and safety, human resources, or related people-focused programs.
Requirements:
  • Ability to primarily work in-person at Parkland County Centre - 53109A HWY 779, Parkland County, AB.
  • A valid class 5 driver's license and current, satisfactory driver's abstract provided upon hire.
  • A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is required upon hire, excluding candidates under the age of 18 and current Parkland County employees.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
