Offering inpatient, outpatient, medical, surgical and emergency care, AdventHealth Ocala, formerly Florida Hospital Ocala, is one of the largest hospitals in the AdventHealth family but with longstanding local roots. AdventHealth Ocala is accredited by The Joint Commission and received the "Best of the Best Hospital Award" by the Ocala Star Banner Reader's Choice Awards in 2018 and 2019. The facility is named among the top 5% in the nation for patient safety of two years in a row (2018-2019) by Healthgrades. The facility received Chest Pain Center Accreditation from The American College of Cardiology and holds several awards and recognitions in cardiology, orthopedics, cancer, bariatrics, and women's services.
