Job Description:Up to 20K Sign on Bonus Up to 10K Relocation - Provides respiratory care to patients, including aerosolized medication, oxygen therapy, and ventilation.
- Draws, analyzes, and reports blood gas results. Responds to rapid response and code blue situations, performing CPR as needed.
- Manages ventilators, both invasive and non-invasive, and documents changes.
- Assists with bedside bronchoscopy and manages non-invasive Bi-level and end-tidal CO2 capnography.
- Performs respiratory therapy treatments and procedures per physician orders and department protocols.
- Participates in interdisciplinary rounds, providing input on patient care to impact length of stay and re-admission rates.
- Assists with clinical instruction, precepts, and serves as a resource for lower-level therapists.
- Reviews workload, makes staff assignments, and ensures completion of tasks when acting as shift lead.
- Follows regulatory requirements for the blood gas lab, including quality control and analyzer maintenance.
- Identifies and implements cost-control methods while maintaining patient care quality.
- Completes and documents ECGs and ensures all errors and inefficiencies are reported to management.

Education: - Technical/Vocational School [Required]
Field of Study: - In respiratory therapy program prior to obtaining license or grandfathered in prior to licensure
Work Experience: - 1+ years critical care experience [Required]
- 3+ years Respiratory Care experience [Required]
