Advanced Project Engineer role is intended to serve as the primary project engineering lead within the Electronic Test (ET) organization, with responsibility for factory support initiatives and new tester projects. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project planning, status updates, execution, and escalation as needed.
  • Serve as the sole point of accountability within the Electronic Test (ET) organization for the factory support initiatives and new tester projects.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the assigned engineering work scope.
  • Foster clear communication among project team members and leaders.
  • Optimize team efficiency through procedural improvements and automation.
  • Facilitate the quotation estimate efforts and obtain approvals for test solutions.
  • Ensure project execution aligns with established schedules and remains within budget.
  • Support various teams in reaching consensus and finding solutions.
  • Promote and refine project engineering practices for both Hardware and Software teams.
  • Act as a process champion, focusing on project specific operating systems and multi project considerations for increased reuse.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in their professional development.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience related to engineering or program management.

  • Significant experience in engineering, especially familiarity with ATE (Automated Test Equipment) development processes and practices
  • Familiarity with Aerospace avionics or automotive industry project management
  • Factory manufacturing or supply chain management
  • Previous Test domain experience is a plus
  • Technical background/proficiency in Avionics

Advanced Project Eng-The annual base salary for this position starts at $99,100. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
