Job Description

As an Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell supporting the Sheet Manufacturing market, you will play a critical role in executing advanced engineering projects. You will be responsible for validating project scope, objectives, and technical deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will develop and implement project work plans, including timelines, and resource assignments, and you will ensure efficient project execution and successful delivery. Your expertise in project management and technical engineering will contribute to the overall success of our projects.

The market you will be serving includes Pulp & Paper, Lithium-ion Battery, aluminum, rubber, plastic films, and OEMs making products where a continuous sheet is produced. The projects will be delivered using Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Quality Control Systems (QCS), Web inspection and Continuous Web Solutions (CWS) product lines as applicable

You will report directly to our Lead Project Engineer, and you'll work out of our Duluth, GA location on a remote work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our advanced engineering projects. You will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with stakeholders, managing project risks and issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 3+ years of experience in field support, project engineering, or related role
  • 3+ years of experience with Honeywell Experion PKS, Quality Control Systems and PC networking equipment
  • 3+ years of experience with 3rd party process control systems
  • 3+ years of experience with Virtual hardware and software setup and network configuration
  • Valid Driver's License

COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $112,000 - $139,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
