Training is provided to ensure a smooth transition for candidates without nephrology experience. For required travel, mileage is reimbursed.
Hiring Package:- $100,000-$115,000 base salary DOE
- Bonus opportunity of 10% of net collections >1,000
- PTO 20 days/year + 8 paid holidays
Schedule/Practice Details:- Flexible schedule to include a combination of dialysis center rounding, daytime hospital coverage, and/or outpatient clinic coverage
- Exact schedule will be discussed during initial practice interview - dependent upon APP location
Qualifications:- Master's degree program in nursing or physician assistant studies with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements.
- Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
- Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes.
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
- Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
- Knowledge of documentation in medical records in confidential manner.
