  • Certification as a Registered Nurse Practitioner OR Licensed Physician Assistant upon hire is required.
  • Basic Life Support and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications upon hire required.
  • Board certification for Nurse Practitioners and completion of accredited program required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-time patient care Monday to Friday with a combination of surgical and outpatient clinic responsibilities.
  • Assist in surgical procedures and manage peri-operative and post-operative care for orthopedic patients.
  • Evaluate and manage patients presenting with orthopedic concerns.
  • Participate in patient education and treatment planning.
  • Conduct follow-up care to monitor patient recovery.

What you can expect at your practice:
  • Full-time position, Monday - Friday, with mix of Surgery/OR and outpatient clinic
  • Opportunity to assist in surgical procedures and provide peri-operative and post-operative care

Qualifications

Minimum Education:
  • Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
  • Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
  • Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:
  • 1 year Required

Licenses:
  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:
  • BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
  • Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
