This position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity cardiac care setting alongside board-certified cardiologists, providing outpatient and limited inpatient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments and cardiac evaluations Manage chronic cardiac conditions such as CHF, CAD, arrhythmias, and post-MI care Assist with medication management, lifestyle counseling, and patient education Collaborate with cardiologists to monitor and adjust treatment plans Support post-discharge follow-up and transitional care

 Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assitant license in Illinois Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assitant with cardiology experience At least 1 year of experience in cardiology or internal medicine preferred ACLS and BLS certification required
