Responsibilities

Job Title: Emergency Department

Location: York, PA

Employment Type: Full-time

What You'll Champion:
  • 6-week scheduling blocks with 12-hour shifts: Typically three 12-hour clinical shifts per week, plus 4 hours of dedicated project or administrative time
  • Rotating day, evening, and night shifts: Includes weekends and holidays; no call required
  • Multiple shift options available: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, 9:00 AM-9:00 PM, 1:00 PM-1:00 AM, and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
  • High-volume Emergency Department: Approximately 93,000 annual ED visits, offering a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment
  • Team-based, collaborative practice: Work alongside 30 attending Emergency Medicine physicians, ED residents, and 7 full-time Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with strong clinical support
  • Ideal candidate profile: A motivated, high-performing Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who thrives in a busy emergency department and enjoys managing complex cases
  • Experience requirements: Recent Emergency Department experience practicing as a mid-level provider required; must be comfortable caring for patients of all ages
