Job DescriptionAtlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Pulmonology Advanced Practice Professional (NP or PA) to join the growing AMG Pulmonology team at Newton Medical Center and Hackettstown Medical Center. Our growing team consists of highly skilled pulmonologists who provide care including but not limited to evaluation of sleep medicine patients, pulmonary patients, inpatient consults and critical care in Newton and Hackettstown, NJ.
The primary role of the Advanced Practice Professional is to work collaboratively with the pulmonology team and provide immediate support at the hospital as well as seeing predominantly follow-up patients at the hospital and outpatient offices. The ideal candidate will bring a positive and caring attitude, excellent communication skills, and clinical expertise. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday working from 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm with weekend coverage when needed.
QualificationsQualifications- Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Pulmonary experience
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently

AHS boasts several state-of-the-art intensive care units across all hospital campuses. These ICU's include advanced equipment and technology which allows us to manage complex, critically ill patients across multiple service lines. Some of these populations include: trauma/surgery, medicine, neuro, and cardiac surgery. Many of our ICU's are recipients of the Beacon Award from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, which represents the high-quality patient care that is provided within a strong multidisciplinary framework that leads to excellent clinical outcomes. All of the medical centers are designated Stroke Centers by the Joint Commission, with MMC, CMC, NMC, and HMC designated as Primary Stroke Centers and OMC being designated as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing diagnostics and therapeutics to the neurologically injured patient population, including advanced neuro intervention and monitoring.
