The Advanced Modality Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager or Director. Under limited supervision, the Advances Modality Supervisor coordinates the clinical operations to include equipment, personnel, scheduling, financial and customer service functions of a specific modality and in some cases on a secondary basis, other imaging modalities for the MUHA Radiology Department at all facilities. This role operates Medical Imaging equipment to produce images or scans of the body for diagnostic purposes. Other duties as deemed necessary.

Job Description

Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology and three to five years of work experience within the specific work area; prior three years of supervisory experience preferred. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association for the advanced modality.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR /AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
