Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Technical or Engineering discipline preferred.
• 7+ years of CNC programming experience; 10+ years with multi-axis and 5-axis machinery using ESPRIT & Hypermill software is highly preferred.
• Experience with SolidWorks/PDM is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and guidelines required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external relationship building.
• Ability to follow work orders and understand customer specifications attentively.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and validate CNC machining programs for turbomachinery components.
• Simulate toolpaths to detect and prevent production errors.
• Ensure CAD programming is manufacturability and process-efficient.
• Analyze engineering drawings and material properties to refine programming.
• Optimize machining strategies across a variety of materials.
• Collaborate with design engineers for accuracy and production feasibility.
• Perform machine setup, initial runs, troubleshooting, and inspections.
