What You Will Do
- Lead cross-functional quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, COPQ, and warranty exposure across residential operations and suppliers.
- Use data analytics, field feedback, and structured problem-solving methods to identify issues and drive permanent corrective actions.
- Partner with NPD teams to embed Design for Quality and support manufacturing readiness for new product launches.
- Define and flow down critical quality requirements, including CTQs, KPCs, and GD&T, to plants and suppliers.
- Drive process validation activities such as PFMEA, MSA, Control Plans, Safe Launch, and Run-at-Rate to ensure manufacturing readiness and stable production.
- Coach and mentor quality engineers and cross-functional teams on quality tools, standard work, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality, Reliability, or Product Development in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven success leading cross-functional quality improvement and cost reduction projects.
- Experience with stage-gate product development and manufacturing readiness processes such as PDP, NPD, MRT, and PPAP.
- Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, GD&T, and root-cause methodologies.
- Ability to travel up to 30% across the Americas.
